Indy hasn't just been my hometown, it's been home - my entire life.
Indy hasn’t just been my hometown, it’s been home – my entire life.
Many years ago I had the privilege of buying my childhood home. This home in Perry Township has always been a sanctuary for me filled with good memories. But it wasn’t just the house that made it special, it was Indy.
Indianapolis has always been a safe, welcoming, classic Midwest city. Yet over the last seven years, we’ve watched it stumble, stagnate, and decline.
Home isn’t the same when stories like Nikol’s and Sharee’s permeate our neighborhoods.
I’m running because Indianapolis is home. And I want everyone to be able to have the good memories I’ve gotten to make here at home.
